If you were to ask a licensed hypnotherapist, does hypnotism work? He or she would tell you that to be hypnotized is a state that is characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination.
So when you are in this state your mind is able to accept suggestions that are being said.
For example If I was to say to you that money freely flows to you. You would be thinking , money doesn’t flow to me. And that thought just blocked the positive thought I just told you. We do this to ourselves all the time and we wonder why nothing changes no matter how hard we try.
Now your thoughts are what create your life and because we all have limiting beliefs , lots of good thoughts never reach our subconscious mind our beliefs just block them from getting through. So we continue to repeat the same thoughts and our life stays the same.
But when you are hypnotized your limiting beliefs are not there so all the thoughts get through. When this happens we form new thought patterns about what ever we were hypnotize about. Those new thought patterns is what causes change in us.
What about self hypnosis?
Self hypnosis can easily be done with recordings.
What things can I change by listening to recordings?
Almost anything. Most recordings are about a specific topic such as weight loss, over coming a specific fear, or for unlimited wealth. There is a recording for almost any topic that you would want to see improvement in. And the greatest benefits are that you can listen to it as often as you want, which means faster change. And the cost is minimal compared to what one live session would cost you. Also , with a recording you get to listen to it privately.
A friend of mine used to smoke almost 2 packs of cigarettes a day. She started listening to a recording titled stop smoking. She said she listened to it daily for 8 days straight. And on the 4th day she started smoking less. By the 8th day, she said she didn’t feel like a smoker any more. But she did say that even though her mind no longer wanted to smoke her body still wanted the nicotine so she had to wear the nicotine patch for a month and slowly wean her body off of the nicotine.
How often should I listen to them?
That is completely up to you and I would say it depends on how fast you want to see change. I listen to them daily until I see positive change in that area. Even after I have seen change, I will come back to the same recording once a month , just to make sure I am still on track .
I listen to recordings at bedtime. It is very relaxing and I find great benefits from it. Also if you have trouble falling asleep , you won’t anymore if you are listening to a recording.
